The PhantomX AX MK-III by Interbotix Lab is the progression of the popular hexapod robot platform. The Hexapod is completely open source base wich means that the 3D CAD Data, the electronics aswell as the software is open to the public. This enables the development and modification of the hexapod by everybody.
What is new?
The legs and the torso were made out of perspex in the previous version and are now made out of 5052 aluminium. Furthermore the hexapod is equipped with an so calles expansion deck allowing the use of additional components such as sensors that can easily be attached now.
