As already mentioned the OP2 is provided with a wide spectrum of Nodes to shorten the training period and to increase the productivity. The documentation of the components is very extensive wich enabels the individual adjustment and usage of the different components. Through the already created "Robotprofiles" (XML Files) the visualization can quickly be realized through programs like RVIZ or Gazebo.
The Robotis OP2 is provided with an embedded computer, based on an Intel Atom Z530 CPU, and also has a efficient servocontrollerbord and servomotor. The CM-740 servocontrollerboard precisely steers the 20 DYNAMIXEL MX-28T servomotors and is further equipped with an 3-axis gyroscope and an 3-axis accelerometer.
