How to Upgrade the Joint Firmware of xArm 1304 Series
- Download the firmware tool using the link above.
- Launch xarm-tool-gui-win.exe on a Windows system.
- Enter the IP of the control box and click [Connect].
- Switch to [1300/850 Test Tool].
- Check the current servo version. If it is lower than V4.0.16, proceed with the firmware upgrade.
- To upgrade:
- Select [Driver board for all joints] and click [Install driver].
- Press down the E-stop button, wait for 5 seconds, then release it, and click [Next].
- The system will automatically upgrade the servo firmware.
- The upgrade process will take about 1 minute. Once completed, the tool will display "Installation Success!" and the system will reboot automatically.
- After the reboot, reconnect the arm and check the servo version. It should now be V4.0.16.
