The 3DRobotics 433Mhz V1 500MW Telemetry Kit impresses with its small size and light weight, while maintaining the 433Mhz frequency. This kit is based on the HopeRF HM-TRP radio module with SiLabs Si1000 RF microcontroller and has adaptive foot control when used with the APM. Proven range is several kilometers with a small omnidirectional antenna, but it can achieve even greater range using a bidirectional amplifier.
