Description

The ArduCAM team has released a series of camera modules for the Raspberry Pi, including 5MP and 8MP modules. They are fully compatible with the official version and are divided into Standard Version, Optimised Optical Performance Version, Miniature Spy Camera Version, NoIR Version, Motorised IR Cut Version and Programmable Motorised Focus Camera Version. These camera modules support all Raspberry Pi models and require a 15-to-22 pin cable or adapter to work with the Pi Zero.

The ArduCAM 5MP NoIR Spy Camera is a high resolution video camera for Raspberry Pi model A/B/B+, Raspberry Pi 2/3/3B+/4 and features a 5MP Omnivision OV5647 sensor in a fixed focus lens. Sensitivity to IR light is high as there is no IR filter.

The board is very small, 300mm x 16mm and the neck width is 6mm. Accordingly, it is perfect for applications such as endoscope, spy surveillance or others where size and image quality are important. Among others, it is used for various battery-powered products, such as cell phones, PDAs or toys.
