Description

 

These cameras were specially developed for use with the NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kit.

The 8MP IMX219 cameras with various attachments are used here to cover as many requirement areas as possible in terms of autofocus, wide angle, low distortion, etc. with the cameras.

 

 

The ArduCam team has released this high quality camera module for Jetson Nano/ Xavier NX/ Raspberry Pi Compute Modules CM4, CM3. This is an IMX477 camera board with 3 hole spacing and a 6mm CS lens.

Also, when the IMX477 4-lanes is supported in hardware, the 4-lane camera driver needs customization. The standard Raspberry Pi and Jetson Nano/ Xavier NX do not have a 4-lane connection, only 2-lane CSI connectors. The Raspberry Pi Compute Module and some Jetson Carrier boards have 4-lane hardware support. In addition to the physical requirements of a 4-lane connection, additional measures must be taken, such as paying attention to the number of camera drivers. Drivers are inherently limited due to the power of the platform. The Jetson Nano is equally limited because of the encoding capabilities.

The camera has a 1/2.3" IMX477 sensor with 12.3 megapixels. This produces sharp images at a maximum resolution of 4056 (H) x 3040 (V).

This high-quality module has a 4-lane MIPI CSI interface, so more data can be transmitted.

Platforms like Jetson Nano A02&B01 models, Jetson Xavier NX, but also Raspberry Pi Zero and Compute Module.
