Description
The Arducam All-in-One Raspberry Pi AI Camera Kit (B0581) is the compact indoor variant of the Arducam qb series, combining the same 12.3 MP Sony IMX500 AI vision sensor with a pre-installed Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) in a particularly compact enclosure. Compared to the outdoor version (B0572), the B0581 additionally offers a USB-C power option alongside PoE, making it even more versatile to deploy without dedicated network infrastructure.
The Sony IMX500 combines image sensing and AI inference on a single chip, enabling true edge AI processing directly on the camera – without cloud connectivity and with maximum data privacy. Thanks to the pre-installed Raspberry Pi OS and Arducam IMX500 AI Model Zoo integration, the device is ready to use within minutes. Users can run pre-trained models for object detection, pose estimation, segmentation, and other AI tasks directly on the device.
Typical use cases include object detection and counting, industrial quality control, access control, people counting, gesture recognition, and prototyping and evaluation of edge AI vision applications. The compact form factor makes the B0581 ideal for desk deployments, laboratories, and development environments.
