The Benewake TFmini Plus is a very compact LiDAR wich has very small dimensions and is IP65 protected against water and dust due to its fully encapsulation. The measurement range is from 0,1 -12m with a tolerance of less then 1% and an update rate of up to 1KHz. Therefore the LiDAR is very fitting for autonomous outdoor systems such as UAVs and UGVs.

Differences between the TFmini & TFmini Plus

The TFmini Plus is provided with the protection category IP65 meaning that the LiDAR is protected against both water and dust making him very fitting for outdoor usage. An guidance for the integration with the Pixhawk PX4 & PX2.1 can be found HERE.
