Description

Power Supply and Connectivity

  • Connectivity
    • The camera uses USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen1, 5 Gbps) for both power supply and data transmission.
  • Power Consumption
    • The majority of the power is consumed by the RVC2, so the power consumption mainly depends on the workload of the VPU:
  • Base consumption + camera streaming: 2.5W - 3W
  • AI subsystem consumption: Up to 1W
  • Stereo depth pipeline subsystem consumption: Up to 0.5W
  • Video encoder subsystem consumption: Up to 0.5W

The total power consumption can reach up to approximately 5W if all functions are used at 100% simultaneously. To reduce power consumption, the frame rate (FPS) of the entire system can be reduced. This will lower the workload of the subsystems, thus reducing their power consumption.

The operating temperature of RVC2-based devices ranges from -20°C to 50°C when the VPU is fully loaded.

Nahezu jedes Robotik.- oder allgemein Elektronikprojekt benötigt eine gewisse Logik. Diese Logik kann entweder durch aktive Bauelemente oder ganze Entwicklungsboards erreicht werden.
