The MANUS Bodypack Lite is a compact Wi-Fi 6E streaming device for the MANUS Mocap Metagloves and MANUS Prime 3 Mocap gloves. It streams and records hand and finger tracking data wirelessly – with virtually unlimited range over WiFi and full freedom of movement thanks to its integrated wireless dongle.
At just 95 g, the Bodypack Lite is significantly smaller and lighter than the Quantum Bodypack and can be worn effortlessly on any motion capture suit. Recordings are captured with zero data loss at 120 fps and can be exported as .FBX or .CSV. Integration into MANUS Core enables live streaming and synchronization with common body-capture solutions.
Power is supplied via USB Type-C and a standard power bank; at only 2.5 W power consumption, runtimes of up to 7 hours are possible. The velcro-lined casing ("Stick & Go") and two strap attachment points allow flexible mounting on the body.
Integrations & plug-ins
Live streaming plug-ins: Unreal Engine, Unity, MotionBuilder. Partner integrations: Xsens MVN, OptiTrack Motive 3, Qualisys QTM, Motion Analysis Cortex, Nokov XingYing. Triggered recording with, among others, Vicon Blade/Shogun, OptiTrack Motive 2/3, Xsens MVN, Qualisys QTM, PeelCapture and Rokoko Studio. A free SDK allows custom integrations.
