The Dual Relay Board is a mechanical relay board designed for a wide range of switching applications. It features two SPDT (single pole, double throw) mechanical relays capable of switching both AC and DC loads. Typical applications include controlling incandescent bulbs, fans, pumps, and other high-power devices.

The board is designed to be powered and controlled via an analog port on a Phidget InterfaceKit; each relay is triggered by a digital output (5 V). For DC applications, loads up to 30 V / 7 A can be switched; for AC applications, up to 277 V AC / 12 A, provided the maximum switching power of 1750 VA is not exceeded.

Note: This board is not suitable for switching signals. At least 100 mA of current is required to bridge the oxide layer that forms on the relay contacts; most signals will not meet this requirement.
