The VirDyn Full Suit is an integrated full-body motion capture and teleoperation system designed for the precise acquisition and transmission of human kinematics to digital or robotic target systems. The suit utilizes a combination of sensors (e.g. IMUs and joint encoders) to capture, process, and provide the wearer’s motion data in real time as structured datasets.

This data can then be used for direct control of robotic systems (teleoperation), for generating training data for AI models, or for mapping movements into virtual environments (VR/simulation). The objective is to achieve low-latency, high-resolution, and synchronized replication of human motion within technical systems.

The Virdyn VDSuit Full is a state-of-the-art full-body motion capture system designed specifically for film production, 3D animation, game development, VR applications, and sports analysis. With a total of 27 precise sensor nodes, the suit captures movements of the entire body, including hand and finger motions, in real time and with high accuracy. Thanks to the 360-degree capture range, movements can be recorded from any angle without limitations, while the internal sensor refresh rate of up to 500 Hz and wireless transmission with a latency of only 10–20 milliseconds ensure smooth and highly accurate motion tracking.

The VDSuit Full is especially user-friendly: it can be put on in just five minutes and fits all body types. The wireless connection provides a range of up to 40 meters, while the powerful battery enables continuous use for up to six hours. In addition, all motion data can easily be integrated into popular game engines and animation software such as Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, Blender, iClone, MotionBuilder, and 3DS MAX using the included plug-ins.

With support for VR platforms such as VRChat and Vtuber software like Warudo, users can directly transfer their movements into virtual worlds—whether for interactive VR experiences or livestreams with 2D and 3D avatars. The self-developed algorithms of the VDSuit Full ensure quick calibration, high-frequency data updates, and magnetic interference resistance, allowing even complex and highly dynamic movements such as jumps, flips, or sports actions to be captured with precision.

Size Description

The VDSuit Full uses highly flexible elastic straps to securely hold the sensors in place. The design is extremely adaptable and imposes minimal restrictions regarding body height or shape. If you wish to check the maximum diameter of each strap (the largest diameter within the elastic band's tolerance range), you can find the corresponding data below. To calculate the circumference of the strap, simply multiply the value by 2, as it represents twice the maximum diameter:
