Voltera NOVA

  • Improved material flexibility
  • Camera-based inspection & AR overlay
  • 8 "x11" titanium vacuum workplate

Description

The Voltera NOVA is the world's first printer capable of producing soft, stretchy and comfortable electronics. The fancy term for NOVA technology is direct-write extrusion printing, which means you can print the material exactly where you want it and nowhere else. The application possibilities are endless.

  • Semi-automatic calibration process.
  • Vacuum tables and custom fixtures allow you to print directly onto soft, flexible, 3D printed and irregularly shaped materials.
  • NOVA uses an intelligent dispenser to measure the pressure, temperature and viscosity of any ink or screen printing material.
  • Intelligent vision systems enable quick alignment and verification of prints using internal cameras with AR print overlay capabilities.
  • Modular in design, NOVA grows with you and works for you. Two modules - Dispenser and Precision Probe - will be included in the base platform at launch, with more planned in the product roadmap

Improved material flexibility

With NOVA, the whole world of conductive inks is at your disposal. Choosing the right ink for your project is no longer limited by dispensing technology. Dispensing technology you need for proof of concept. Experience the flexibility that different inks offer to solve unique problems in new and interesting ways.

Smart dispenser

The Smart Dispenser is where pressure feedback

and semi-automatic ink calibration show their stuff.

Bring your traces down to 100μm and print with virtually

any material - if you want to print with it, NOVA will calibrate it.

Camera-based inspection & AR overlay

With a camera pointed directly at the module hub, NOVA gives you improved accuracy and precision in both calibration and printing.

With the AR overlay feature, you can visualize how your design will look on the substrate before printing. Save frustration and materials by knowing exactly where the ink will be from the start.

Titanium vacuum table

NOVA's worktop gives you the flexibility to experiment with soft, stretchy and conformable materials.

The vacuum table's porous titanium surface allows for a steady flow of air to fix almost any substrate, making printing a breeze.
