Description
The Arducam All-in-One Raspberry Pi AI Camera Kit (B0572) is a fully integrated edge AI security camera for outdoor use, combining a 12.3 MP Sony IMX500 AI vision sensor with a pre-installed Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) in an IP66-certified metal enclosure. The Sony IMX500 combines image sensing and AI inference on a single chip, enabling true edge AI processing directly on the camera – without cloud connectivity and with maximum data privacy.
The camera is powered exclusively via PoE (Power over Ethernet) and supports installations over 100 metres without dedicated power infrastructure. The IP66 enclosure is dust-, water-, and fog-proof and designed for reliable continuous operation in demanding outdoor environments. Supported use cases include intelligent perimeter security, construction site monitoring, traffic and parking enforcement, and crowd analytics in public spaces.
The camera runs Raspberry Pi OS and supports Arducam's IMX500 AI Model Zoo with pre-trained models for object detection, pose estimation, and segmentation. Since AI inference runs directly on the IMX500 sensor, the CM5 is fully available for application logic, network communication, and data storage.
