The CubePilot The Orange Cube standard set with ADS-B receiver by CubePilot / Hex Aero is currently one of the most popular UAV Controller on the market. The modular structure combined with an integrated and encapsulated sensoric provides an efficient controllerboard even for ambitious users. The module has three redundant IMU systems:

  • 3 x Accelerometer
  • 3 x Gyroscope
  • 3 x Magnetometer
  • 3 x Barometer

aswell as several interfaces and configurable ports:

  • dedicated Spektrum RX Port
  • ADC Ports
  • I2C interface
  • S.Bus in- and output

Technical Details


What is the difference between the PX2.1 and the PX4?

Beside the different dimensions of the PX2.1 and the PX4 the main difference is "The Cube". The Cube is the core of the PX2.1 and is provided with several IMus aswell as the damping and heating of those IMUs. This enables a more accurate positioning allocation. Also the PX2.1 has a slightly larger community, wich can solve problems that could occure due to the PX2.1 having a earlier release date as the PX4.
