General

The Dobot Magician is an Robotic arm with 4DOF (Degrees of Freedom) build to be used in educational institutions such as schools, training companys and universities. The stepper motor combined with the implemented controlling electronic system make the Dobot very quiet and precise. The Dobot Magician can be used for a wide field of applications due to it's repeatability of 0,02mm. The tools that come with the Dobot allow a wide spectrum of abillitys such as picking up certain objects, bringing digital diagrams on an even platform or creating objects via 3D printing. Furthermore the Dobot can be controlled and integrated with either the Bluetooth module wich is handed by or the WLAN module wich can additionally be purchased.

The Dobot transforms into a fully functional 3D-Printer

The Dobot Magician Robotic arm can easily be modified to function as an 3D-Printer. Therefore you only need to add the Hotend to the Dobot, connect the cables aswell as the Feeder wich is used to transport the filament. These small changes enable it to use the Dobot Magician as a 3D-Printer wich can be controlled per RepetierHost or Cura.
