Description

The ARK MOSAIC-X5 RTK GPS is a US-made, NDAA-compliant DroneCAN module that combines a high-precision Septentrio Mosaic-X5 RTK GNSS receiver with a magnetometer, barometer, IMU, buzzer and safety switch in a compact assembly. It runs PX4 open-source firmware and is compatible with both PX4 and ArduPilot flight controllers.

At its core is the Septentrio Mosaic-X5 as a triple-band GNSS (L1/L2/L5) with an update rate of 100 Hz and AIM+ jamming protection for reliable RTK positioning even in demanding RF environments. The module is complemented by an ST IIS2MDC magnetometer, a Bosch BMP390 barometer and an Invensense ICM-42688-P 6-axis IMU; an STM32F412VGH6 serves as the main controller. DroneCAN firmware updates are supported.

For integration, two Pixhawk-standard CAN connectors, a "Basic GPS Port" (for external sensors such as airspeed or distance), a debug connector, USB-C as well as a micro-SD slot (Mosaic-X5 logging) are available. LED indicators for safety, GPS fix, RTK status and RGB system status facilitate diagnostics.
