AgileX COBOT S
The AgileX COBOT S is a versatile, industrial-grade robotic system based on a compact, all-terrain mobile platform, specifically designed for mobile manipulation tasks in complex work environments. The system combines advanced robotics components with intelligent sensors and an open software architecture, making it ideal for applications in research, industrial automation, logistics, inspection, and service.
At its core is the AgileX Bunker platform – a robust, tracked mobile unit capable of precise maneuvering even on uneven terrain and under challenging environmental conditions. Its low center of gravity and stable chassis make it perfect for continuous operation in demanding environments, whether indoors, in factory halls, or outdoors.
Mounted on the platform is an RM75 robotic arm with 6 degrees of freedom, enabling precise and flexible manipulation of objects. In combination with the DH AG95 gripper, it can securely handle both delicate and bulky items. The gripper jaws are electrically adjustable, allowing a wide range of applications – from precise manufacturing processes to automated order picking.
For environment detection and navigation, a dual-sensor system is employed: the YDLIDAR G4 provides precise 2D lidar data for indoor navigation, while the RS-Helios-16P 3D lidar system delivers real-time spatial depth information – a crucial advantage when navigating unknown or dynamic environments. The sensor suite is complemented by the Intel RealSense D435 depth camera, which visually captures objects and supports advanced functions like obstacle detection and object classification.
The central computing unit is a powerful APQ industrial computer, designed for Linux and ROS compatibility. With ample processing power, GPU support, and various interfaces (Ethernet, CAN bus, USB, Wi-Fi), it allows direct integration of custom software, machine learning algorithms, or cloud-based control.
The AgileX COBOT S is delivered fully assembled and ready for use, packaged in a sturdy wooden transport crate. This ensures it is immediately ready for field deployment or integration into existing production processes.
