Description

In 2017, Arducam introduced USB2.0 and USB3.0 camera shields. They are another universal camera platform connected via USB. They support higher resolutions and faster frame rates than SPI cameras. They have also expanded the supported camera options, especially global shutter camera for single board computers like Raspberry Pi. With the ArducamcomprehensiveSDK library, you can work on PC and ARM processors, Windows, Linux operating systems, and Robot Operating System (ROS). It can be used for image sensors/optical evaluation, image processing cameras, microscope/telescope USB cameras and more.

This camera, with a maximum resolution and frame rate of 2592(H) x 1944(V), from ArduCam is based on the 5MP OV5648 USB camera module. It was equipped with an M12 (110° (D) x 95° (H) x 76° (V)) lens with manual focus. In addition, the application range of the image sensor has been extended, so that the camera is able to realize various projects. Compatible with Windows, Linux, Android and MAC OS, the USB camera does not require any additional drivers.

Application areas: Home video surveillance, live streaming, video conferencing, 3D printer monitoring, dashcam
