ICRA 2026 Robotics Meetup
A relaxed get-together with a drink in hand and good conversations about robotics, right before the conference marathon kicks off. MYBOTSHOP and Quadruped Robotics invite all robotics enthusiasts to a casual opening evening in Vienna.
What is this about?
ICRA is one of the largest robotics conferences in the world, and in 2026 it is coming to Austria for the first time. Before the workshops, tutorials and plenaries start on Monday, we want to use the Sunday evening for the one thing that always runs short at conferences: no agenda, no slides, just talking to each other.
Whether you come from research, industry, a startup, university, or are simply curious about robotics, you are very welcome to join.
What to expect
Casual atmosphere
No agenda, no talks, no pitch pressure. Just bar, table, conversation.
Robotics community
Researchers, engineers, integrators, resellers. A wide mix from across the ICRA crowd.
Real exchange
What works in practice and what does not? Honest conversations beyond the demo slides.
International crowd
Languages spoken are English and German. Everyone is welcome.
Practical information
When: Sunday, 31 May 2026, from 7:00 PM (open end).
Where: A venue in Vienna, within walking distance or a short public-transport ride from Messe Wien (the ICRA 2026 venue). We will send the exact address by email to all registered guests shortly before the event.
Cost: The meetup itself is free. Drinks will be served for free for a decent time.
