Description

The LIPS LIPSedge™ T225 is a compact 3D ToF (Time-of-Flight) camera featuring high depth accuracy and low latency, developed in collaboration with Lattice Semiconductor based on the CrossLink-NX FPGA. The camera uses a 640×480 depth sensor with a 940 nm short-pulse illuminator to capture precise depth information at up to 30 frames per second at full resolution. Typical use cases include Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), Occupant Monitoring Systems (OMS), gesture control, and in-cabin perception in automotive applications.

The T225 is highly resistant to ambient light with a sunlight tolerance of up to 80,000 lux, delivering reliable depth data in all lighting conditions from complete darkness to bright daylight. The persistent USB connection automatically recovers from short interruptions (under 15 seconds) without requiring a restart. A comprehensive SDK with support for OpenCV, ROS, and NVIDIA DriveWorks is available for integration.
