Description

General

The Dronecan Generic CANnode with 6-Axis IMU Module enables the use of any sensor on the CAN bus. It uses open-source PX4 firmware and supports UAVCAN firmware updates. The module comes with an open-source schematic and BOM.

It includes a 6-Axis IMU sensor from Invensense ICM-42688-P and is controlled by the STM32F412CGU6 MCU with 1MB Flash. The module features various Pixhawk standard connectors: CAN, I2C, UART/I2C (basic GPS port), SPI, PWM, and Debug. It is built in the USA, FCC compliant, and has a power requirement of 5V with current dependent on connected peripherals.
