Description

General

The RPLIDAR A2M6 Laser Scanner is the more enhanced Version of the 2D Lidar. The measurement system that is manufactured by SLAMTEC is suitable for both Indoor and Outdoor applications. The RPLIDAR has a high rotation speed and is capable of up to 8000 measurements per second. The RPLIDAR A2 360° Laser Scanner is provided with 600RPM and a resolution of up to 1°. An example of a possible Point Clod can be seen below.

Evaluation of the measurement data

The evaluation of the acquired data can be done via RS232 or USB. The picture below shows the XH2.54-5P Plug that is lead out of the case of the A2 RPLIDAR. The delivery content also contains an module that cen be used to enable the connectivity to USB.
