The Mega 2560 R3 is an Arduino compatible, Atmel Atmega2560 supported, development board. This board is equipped with 54 input/output pins and 16MHZ crystal oscillator. Moreover, this development board has ICSP header, USB and power connector. Due to the popularity of the Mega 2560, there are a lot of expansion shields available, which can be easily plugged onto the board.
