Description

The RFD868 TXMOD is an "all in one" long range transmitter. The TXMOD is based on a RFD868x Long Range Telemetry Module with a transmission power of up to 1W, paired with a JR connector and WiFi module. This allows the TXMOD to be easily plugged into a variety of remote control systems such as Frsky Taranis, JR, Frsky Horus and can be used immediately.

Configuration

Due to the integrated WiFi module, configuration of the RFD868 TXMOD is web-based. When the module is started, an access point is set up, which can be used to access and make all necessary settings.

Connection to a tablet or similar

As already mentioned, the TXMOD has a JR connection, but the possibility of connecting to a tablet or similar device without a USB port, which has been denied up to now, is particularly interesting. The integrated WiFi module is not only used for configuration, but also enables the data transfer from the Ground Control Station (QGCS) to the UAV.
