General

The Lynxmotion VTail 400 is an extremely agile drone, optimised for robotics.

Mechanik

The frame is milled from G10 fiberglass, which is known for its high stiffness combined with weight reduction. This makes fast flight manoeuvres possible without any problems, despite additional components such as control electronics and sensors. This is made possible not only by the lightweight frame but also by the V-shaped tail Rotors.

Electronics

The Lynxmotion VTail 400 drone is supplied with four 4x 28x30mm - 1000kv brushless motors and four 4x 12A brushless controllers flashed with SimonK firmware. By using standard brushless controllers, either the Lynxmotion Quadrino Flight Control System can be used or a custom controller can be developed. A controller board, such as the Arduino Nano, is all that is needed to control the controllers, as only PWM signals need to be transmitted.
