MANUS Adapter Optical tracking

The Optical Adapter is an accessory from the MANUS range of adapters for third-party tracking. It mechanically connects the MANUS gloves to the markers or rigid bodies of an optical motion capture system, thus enabling the precise MANUS finger tracking to be coupled with optical positional tracking within the volume.

The adapter is attached via the universal mount of the MANUS gloves and positions the reflective markers reliably and repeatably on the hand. This allows hand and finger movements (MANUS) to be combined with the spatial position from the optical system into a complete tracking data set – ideal for motion capture studios, VR/XR applications and teleoperation in combination with systems such as OptiTrack, Qualisys, Vicon or Nokov.
