NVIDIA is the world market leader for computer vision and has launched an extremely compact, but at the same time very high-performance development platform on the market with the Jetson Xavier series. The NVIDIA Jetson NX offers up to 6 TeraFlops, whereas the AGX even has 11 TeraFlops.
What are TeraFlops?
The performance is often specified in TeraFlops. FLOPS stands for "Floating Point Operations per Seconds", which represents the number of possible computing operations per second. The AGX can therefore handle eleven (11) trillion computing operations per second with its 11 TeraFlops. In conventional systems, this performance often can't be accessed because the rest of the peripherals are not capable of it, but not in the Jetson Xavier series - where everything is designed for maximum performance.
