The Ouster REV8 OS family is a generation of digital lidar sensors featuring – according to the manufacturer – the world's first native color capture (color and 3D data are fused directly in the silicon hardware). All variants share the same platform and differ primarily in field of view, range and resolution. The four REV8 versions compared:

Note: Range and resolution figures refer to the highest available configuration in each case. Ouster also offers the OS2 (long-range) in its lineup; the REV8 long-range variant referenced here is the OS1 Max. Availability of individual channel/beam configurations on request, per project.
