TIG is a compact humanoid robot developed by Robotis, designed to make learning programming and artificial intelligence applications easier and more accessible.

It is particularly suitable for educational purposes — especially for students aged 12 and above — combining dynamic movements with visual interaction and expressive display feedback through an integrated screen.

Features

The advanced humanoid robot is equipped with a modern LCD display capable of showing various facial expressions.
With its eight joints, Tig can perform impressive movements such as running, martial arts, and other dynamic performances.
It offers powerful AI capabilities, including image recognition, motion analysis, speech recognition (STT), speech synthesis (TTS), and translation.
Tig can be programmed and controlled not only from a PC but also from smart devices, allowing flexible access to the robot from virtually anywhere.

Technical data

Degrees of Freedom (DOF): 8 DOF — eight actuated joints enabling movements such as running, martial arts, and expressive performances.
Display / Facial Expressions: LCD screen capable of displaying different expressions to represent the robot’s “mood” or reactions.
Programming / Control: Can be programmed and controlled via PC or smart devices. Supports block-based programming with R-Block and motion design with R-Motion.
AI Functions: Supports image and motion recognition, speech recognition (STT: Speech-to-Text), speech synthesis (TTS: Text-to-Speech), and translation.
Sensors: Gyroscope, accelerometer, IR sensors, microphones, and LED lights.
Actuators: DYNAMIXEL servomotors (e.g., XL-330 series) for movement.
Connectivity & Power: Bluetooth 5.1, battery approximately 1800 mAh / 3.7 V.
