Description

The SoftGlove is the textile, flexible base glove on which the electronics and haptic components of the SenseGlove system are mounted.

The hardware (sensors, actuators, electronics) sits in a removable hub that connects to the SoftGlove — the SoftGlove can be removed, washed, or replaced with another one.

This concept ensures comfort, flexibility, and long-term use, as the soft textile base fits comfortably on the wrist.

 

Technical Specifications / Features

  • Modular design: SoftGlove + separate hub (sensors & actuators).
  • Sizes: Available in three sizes — S, M, L. Selection depends on hand width and length.
  • Washable / replaceable: The SoftGlove can be removed, washed, or replaced — ideal for hygiene or multiple users.
  • Compatibility: With the hub attached, all haptic and tracking functions are available, including finger tracking, force feedback, and vibrotactile feedback.

Notes / Special Features

  • The SoftGlove alone is not functional: Without the hub, no haptic or tracking features are available.
  • The correct size (S/M/L) should be selected, as an incorrect size may impair functionality.
