What a weekend at the RoboCup German Open in Cologne.
The event is one of the most important competitions in robotics and artificial intelligence, bringing together teams from research, development, and industry. The focus is on real-world applications — especially where robotics can make a meaningful impact.
Strong Performance in the Rescue Major League
One of the highlights: Team Dynamics achieved 2nd place in the Rescue Major League — using a Unitree Go2W, provided by MYBOTSHOP GmbH and QUADRUPED Robotics GmbH.
The Rescue League is one of the most challenging RoboCup disciplines. It is not about demonstrations, but about real-world scenarios involving complex terrain, time pressure, and unpredictable environments.
Robots must navigate autonomously, overcome obstacles, and reliably collect data, often in environments that are difficult or dangerous for humans.
Rescue robotics clearly shows what truly matters: reliability, precision, and robust performance.
The Unitree Go2W proved its strengths in exactly these areas. With stable locomotion, adaptability, and advanced sensing capabilities, it provides a strong foundation for demanding real-world applications.
The success of Team Dynamics is the result of dedication, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for robotics. Seeing a team push our technology to its limits and apply it in real scenarios is what makes this work so rewarding.
A big congratulations to the entire Team Dynamics under the leadership of Raimund Edlinger for this outstanding achievement.
Looking Ahead
RoboCup continues to demonstrate how fast robotics is evolving — especially in areas where it can create real value.
At MYBOTSHOP and QUADRUPED Robotics, we believe the future of robotics lies in real-world applications, where technology supports people and solves real challenges.
We are excited about future collaborations and look forward to supporting innovative robotics projects.
