These cameras were specially developed for use with the NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kit.

The 8MP IMX219 cameras with various attachments are used here to cover as many requirement areas as possible in terms of autofocus, wide angle, low distortion, etc. with the cameras.

 

 

The 2MP OV2311 Global Shutter Mono NoIR M12 falls within the scope of Jetvariety. Any camera module can be connected to the high speed CSI-2 port of the Jetson Nano.
The ArduCam team has developed this camera module which can be directly connected to the CSI-2 camera interface without any additional hardware.

It is based on the 1/2.9" Omnivision OV2311 image sensor, which uses OmniPixel3 technology. It provides full frame, sub-sampling and windowed 8/10-bit MIPI images and is also capable of working out 60 frames per second at full resolution on the 2-lane MIPI bus. This is done with complete user control over image quality. Since the sensor has high resolution, the gaze and eye tracking function is very accurate. Also, we achieve high quantum efficiency in the near-infrared region to minimize active illumination power and power consumption.

The camera driver is kernel dependent. When an upgrade or downgrade is made, this must also be done with the opposite side.

Applications for this module include DSC, machine vision, robotics, and face recognition. Of course, these are only examples of possible applications for the camera module.
