These cameras were specially developed for use with the NVIDIA Jetson Developer Kit.
The 8MP IMX219 cameras with various attachments are used here to cover as many requirement areas as possible in terms of autofocus, wide angle, low distortion, etc. with the cameras.

The ArduCAM NVIDIA Jetson Camera 8MP IMX219 Motorized Focus is mainly designed for the NVIDIA Jetson Nano platform, but it can be used on other hardware like ARM, DSP or FPGA as well. It also works with the Raspberry Pi computer module, but not with the standard Raspberry Pi models.
What makes this camera special is that the lens focus is programmable via software. There is an open source code provided by the ArduCAM team.
Applications for this camera include, for example: unmanned vehicles, autonomous robotic systems, intelligent viedeo analysis, building drones, and mobile medical Imaging.
