Outboard Ring Magnet of the Encoder

Diametrically magnetized outboard ring magnet for absolute encoders with MAB output.

  • Dimensions: Outer diameter 37 mm x Inner diameter 31 mm x 3 mm.
  • Main applications: Quadruped and legged robots, exoskeletons, ROVs, UGVs, drones, mobile indoor robots, wheel platforms, and cobots.

Custom sizes are possible upon contact.

The outboard ring magnet MAB Encoder is part of the MAB absolute output encoder designed for the MD80 HW2.0 controller. It can be used for position determination on geared motors (post-commissioning), direct control of the output shaft, or reporting position and velocity values. Works in off-axis scenarios, allowing you to design through-axle actuators.
