The MD80 V2.1 CANopen Motor Controller

The MD80 V2.1 CANopen represents the improved second generation of our integrated brushless motor controller. Designed to meet industrial requirements, it offers numerous new features and capabilities.

With the ability to operate up to 48 V with a peak current of 80 A, the MD80 V2.1 minimizes cogging torque and operates nearly silently thanks to improved measurements and power stage. The external on-axis and off-axis encoder capability allows precise position sensing and control.

Specially designed for mobile robotics and industrial applications, this motor controller provides maximum performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. Its compact size of ∅55 mm and a weight of 30g make it ideal for applications where space and weight are critical.

The user-friendliness of the MD80 V2.1 is supported by an intuitive user interface that makes it easy to program and customize settings as needed. The implemented CANopen communication interface facilitates integration into key industrial controllers such as PLCs.
