The Phidget Graphic LCD is capable of displaying simple texts and images. It connects to the computer via a VINT hub. The LCD's screen is 128 pixels wide and 64 pixels high, with each pixel measuring 0.45mm. The brightness and pixel contrast can be controlled via the software. With this device you can draw single pixels, straight lines or rectangles. Text, in three different fonts, is also possible. However, you can also develop your own font and load it into a frame buffer. In addition, there are three separate frame buffers where images can be stored and copied to the screen. One of the frame buffers can be stored with an integrated flash memory. This way, the data is retained even if the device is turned off or linked to another computer.
