Description

 

The TeraRanger product series from the French company TeraBee comprises a wide range of LED LiDAR systems with different specifications and application possibilities. Nevertheless, these sensor modules are convincing due to their modular design, identical dimensions and interfaces to third-party software such as Pixhawk and ROS, and their amazing weight of only 12 grams. The TeraRanger EVO describes a Single Point LiDAR with a sensational update rate of up to 240Hz at a maximum range of up to 15m.

The TeraBee ecosystem always consists of two components, the sensor and the backboard. This forms the communication level between the sensor and a device. You can choose between three different interfaces:

As a result, the TeraRanger EVO series can be integrated into almost any application.

Application possibilities

The TeraBee products can be integrated into own applications as well as existing frameworks in the same comfortable way. Ready-to-use libraries/nodes are available for Pixhawk flight controllers as well as the very popular ROS middleware.
