Description

Agilex Scout Mini

The Agilex Scout Mini is a state-of-the-art, ultra-compact mobile robotic platform developed for professional use in critical, industrial, and scientific applications. With its powerful all-wheel drive (4×4), outstanding maneuverability, and modular architecture, the Scout Mini ranks among the most versatile and rugged unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in its class. It is ideally suited for tasks such as terrain exploration, inspection missions, surveillance, mapping, search and rescue, and autonomous navigation in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Engineered for operation in challenging conditions, the Scout Mini features a ground clearance of approximately 100 mm and can handle slopes up to 30 degrees, allowing it to navigate uneven terrain, urban obstacles, and tight spaces with ease. Its compact size makes it ideal for use inside buildings or confined industrial facilities where larger robots are impractical.

Equipped with advanced sensors—including a high-resolution camera, an inertial measurement unit (IMU), and optional GPS and LiDAR—the platform enables precise navigation, environmental perception, and real-time data transmission. Supporting the open Robot Operating System (ROS 1 & ROS 2), the Scout Mini integrates seamlessly into existing robotic ecosystems and can be easily customized to meet specific project needs. Developers benefit from access to comprehensive APIs and an SDK that facilitates rapid prototyping and control.

The Scout Mini is powered by a robust 24 V lithium-ion battery that provides a runtime of up to 2.5 hours, depending on usage. Battery swapping is tool-free and takes only seconds, ensuring continuous operation in the field. With an IP54 protection rating, the robot is resistant to dust and water splashes, making it suitable for use in light rain, humid environments, and dusty industrial settings.

Despite its rugged design, the Scout Mini remains portable and user-friendly. It can be easily transported in a standard vehicle and is ready for deployment within minutes. An intuitive remote control unit with an integrated display allows manual operation while autonomous navigation algorithms can run simultaneously. Its modular design supports simple expansion through additional sensors, actuators, or robotic arms, making the platform highly adaptable to changing mission requirements.

Whether in security services, firefighting, scientific research, utility inspection, or industrial monitoring, the Agilex Scout Mini offers a powerful, intelligent, and future-proof solution for mobile robotics. Its versatility, durability, and smart design make it an indispensable tool for demanding robotic missions.
