Alt‑Bionics is a young US-based technology and robotics company, founded in 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. The company was born from a personal experience of the founder, who, after a hand injury in 2017, began developing affordable, high-functioning bionic hands because conventional prosthetics were very expensive.
The company's goal is to make advanced bionic prosthetics affordable and accessible while also developing high-performance modular robotic grippers for humanoid robots. Alt‑Bionics leverages its expertise in prosthetics to create solutions that serve both human users and robotic platforms.
