Makera

Makera, founded in 2016 in China, specializes in the development and production of desktop CNC machines. Their flagship product, the CARVERA, is an intelligent desktop CNC machine designed to meet the demands of desktop manufacturing. The CARVERA integrates several advanced features, including automatic leveling, automatic tool changing, and dust collection, making it particularly useful for PCB milling and other design-related tasks. The machine is aimed at makers and designers, offering a compact yet powerful tool that fits directly on a desk, allowing ideas to quickly become tangible products.

Makera has also developed a range of accessories and software for the CARVERA, such as the 4th Axis Module, PCB Fabrication Package, and Carvera CAM Software, to further enhance the capabilities of their CNC machine.

In 2021, Makera launched a successful Kickstarter campaign for the CARVERA, raising over $1.7 million from 588 backers, making it the most successful CNC campaign on Kickstarter at the time. This success enabled the company to rapidly expand, grow their team, and scale production to meet the demand from their backers and new customers.

Makera's mission is to provide high-quality, innovative tools for makers, enabling them to bring their creative ideas to life with ease and precision.
