Description

To help customers evaluate the cameras or build prototypes with their own circuits without dealing with fine pitch flex cables or soldering balls, Arducam has released the evaluation kit with camera breakout boards and Arducam USB2/USB3 camera shield without writing a single line of code.

The camera evaluation kit is based on the Mira220, an enhanced 1/2.7" 2.2MP NIR global shutter image sensor. Its rapid evaluation setup includes an immediately available camera and adapter kit, which, together with the Arducam USB Camera Shield UI tool, ensures a seamless integration experience for developers.

Capable of high frame rates up to 80fps, the Mira220 specializes in capturing fast-paced scenes with exceptional clarity. The USB 3.0 interface ensures compatibility with a wide range of hardware, providing flexibility for various applications. The addition of a low-distortion M12 lens enhances its adaptability to different imaging scenarios. Developers will appreciate the kit's user-friendliness, featuring developer-friendly SDKs and APIs for easy integration into existing projects. In addition, the Mira220 features high NIR sensitivity, making it ideal for applications that require enhanced performance in low-light conditions.
