Overview

The official Raspberry Pi Camera Module V2 features a fixed-focus lens, which is either permanently set or manually adjustable. However, Arducam values flexibility and has developed a motorized autofocus camera for the Raspberry Pi. This camera module allows precise focus adjustment via software, enabling you to zoom in on objects and focus exactly where needed.

  • Optimized for Raspberry Pi: Equipped with a Sony IMX219 8MP sensor and an autofocus lens. Focal length: 2.8 mm; Field of view: 77.6° (diagonal).
  • Motorized Autofocus Lens: Software-controlled focus adjustment with manual and automatic focus scripts in Python, compatible with OpenCV. Focus can be easily adjusted using the keyboard (Up/Down keys).
  • Wide Compatibility: Works with all Raspberry Pi models from Series 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as Raspberry Pi Zero and Zero 2W, with simple configuration.
  • High-Resolution Image Quality: Supports still images with a resolution of 3280 × 2464 pixels, providing exceptional image clarity.
  • User-Friendly: Ideal for beginners while offering advanced functionality for experienced users.

Note

  • The package does not include any Raspberry Pi motherboard.
