Description

General

The ROBOTIS Dynamixel Pro servos have different power values, dimensions and interfaces and therefore cover a wide field of possible applications. The Dynamixel Pro+ M54P-040-S250-R has an epicyclic gearing aswell as an integrated encoder that enables up to 502 834 steps/pulse. Furthermore the Dynamixel Pro servos have following special functions:

  • current sensor for force control 
  • control algorithm for speed, position and voltage regulation
  • PID-Controller for inter position control

The communication between the servomotor and the controlling unit can be realised via the ROBOTIS Dynamixel U2D2, the ROBOTIS OpenCR1.0 or a variety of other Dynamixel Pro / RS485 compatible control units. One thing that should be kept in mind is, that the working voltage is 24 Volt.
