The RS3 features IMU-based tilt compensation, which can take measurements with an accuracy of 20mm, with a tilt angle of up to 60°. The tilt is corrected continuously and in real time to ensure that the target is not lost. The RS3 is pre-calibrated at the factory so it can be used out of the box. The tilt compensation can also work near metal structures as it is not affected by magnetic fields. Initializing tilt compensation takes about 20m or 10-20 seconds when tilting. This is often already the distance between the car and the first measuring point. The fix is delivered with centimeter accuracy in about 5 seconds.

The RS3 has an IP67 rating and operates in temperatures between -20°C and +65°C. The Li-Ion battery withstands temperatures and handles over 2000 charge and discharge cycles. The RTK is also very stable. Thanks to the polycarbonate and elastomer materials, it is shockproof and well equipped.
