  • Voltage: 24 VDC
  • CAN-FD or CANopen interface
  • Highly integrated, compact design

Description

MD60-IP67 - Key Features:

Motor and Gear:

  • The actuator features a brushless motor working in combination with a 6:1 planetary gearbox. This setup enables efficient and powerful rotational movement.

Controller:

  • The MD60-IP67 uses the MD80 controller, ensuring precise control of the motor and gearbox. This controller plays a crucial role in executing motion commands.

Absolute Encoder:

  • An RLS absolute encoder is integrated on the output shaft to capture the exact position of the actuator in real-time.

Electrical Specifications:

  • Operating voltage is 24 VDC, and the actuator weighs 0.43 kg. The torque varies between 3 Nm (rated) and 9 Nm (peak). The maximum constant speed is 400 RPM.

Integrated Design:

  • The MD60-IP67 features a highly integrated, compact design, making it particularly space-saving.

Configuration and Interfaces:

  • The actuator's configuration is simple and can be done with CANdle and CANdle HAT, allowing for plug-and-play. It provides a CAN-FD or CANopen interface for communication.

Encoder and Driver:

  • The actuator is equipped with a 17-bit encoder, the settings of which can be adjusted. ROS/ROS2 drivers and C++/Python libraries are provided for programming and control.

Protection Classes:

  • The MD60-IP67 housing is certified to IP67, meaning it is dust and waterproof. Ideal for applications requiring precise and reliable motion control in demanding environments.
