Description

NVIDIA's Jetson Orin Development Kit provides the compute power needed to run modern AI workloads at unprecedented scale, performance, and cost. Learners, developers, manufacturers, or general users are able to run AI frameworks and models for applications such as object recognition, image classification, segmentation, and/or speech processing. This kit eases the entry into the Jetson Orin Nano series and defines a new standard for the development of AI-driven robots, smart cameras and drones.

The kit's compact design, multiple connectivity options, and up to 40TOPS of AI performance perfectly contribute to its suitability for implementing visionary concepts. The Dev Kit has up to 80TOPS performance to the Jetson Nano, so it can run all modern AI models, including transformer and advanced robotics models. This Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit consists of a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB and a reference carrier board that supports all Orin Nano and Orin NX models. The Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module features an Ampere GPU and a 6-core ARM CPU. This CPU and GPU enable multiple simultaneous AI application pipelines and high-performance inferencing. Among the many ports are two MIPI CSI ports. In addition, the camera modules with up to 4-lanes enable higher resolution and frame rate than before.

The Jetson runs the NVIDIA AI software stack. Application-specific frameworks, such as NVIDIA Isaac for robotics, DeepStream for Vision AI, and Riva for conversational AI, are available. With the help of NVIDIA Omniverse Replicator (synthetic data generation, SDG) and NVIDIA TAO Toolkit (fine-tuning of pre-trained AI models from NGCTM catalog), reduction of time can be made possible.

Jetson Orin modules are outstanding in terms of efficiency for robots and other autonomous machines. They provide the flexibility to develop the next generation of AI solutions using the latest NVDIA technology. Combined with the global standardized NVIDIA AI software stack and an ecosystem of services and products, theories can be quickly put into practice.
