Phidgets Encoder HighSpeed 4-Input

  • Four digital inputs
  • Compatible with all 0-5V quadrature encoders
  • up to 250,000 quadrature cycles per second
  • Timestamp in milliseconds

Description

The HighSpeed 4-Input Encoder can be connected to any 5V quadrature encoder. This encoder is one of the most commonly used devices for a DC or stepper motor. The device can be used to track how far the motor has rotated. This makes it possible to control the position and speed in your code. Via USB the encoder is connected to the computer.

Features

  • four digital inputs (for reading limit switches or buttons)
  • works with all 0-5V quadrature encoders
  • simultaneous reading of four incremental encoders with line driver, open collector or push-pull output circuits
  • up to 250,000 quadrature cycles per second
  • power-saving (card can be switched off by software, 30mA when switched off)
  • Time stamp in milliseconds for each position change

Scope of delivery

  • 1x Phidgets Encoder High Speed 4-Input
  • 4x M3 screws (2cm)
