Phidgets Stepper 42STH38 NEMA17 99,51:1

Phidgets Stepper 42STH NEMA17

  • Translation ratio: 991044/2057 :1
  • step angle: 0,018°
  • Do not connect directly to power supply!

Description

The NEMA17 motor from Phidgtes has an integrated planetary gear with a gear ratio of 991044/2057:1. The rear shaft has been left free so that you can mount an encoder or a shaft coupling. The step angle at the output of the gearbox is approximately 0.018°. If the step angle is to be used in the calculation, the exact step angle should be derived. To do this, simply divide 1.8° by the reduction ratio.

With a torque of 1.7A, a torque of max. 250kg-cm can be generated. However, the motor is designed for 48kg-cm and for a short-term overload of 100kg-cm.

The NEMA17 must be controlled by a chopper drive bearing or a constant current drive bearing.

Attention: If the motor is connected directly to a power supply, the motor will be destroyed.
