RPLIDAR S3 360° (Range: 40m)

The RPLiDar S3 from Slamtec is the new generation of powerful, lightweight and compact LiDarn. The S3 is versatile as it has excellent stability and reliability. Even with long distances, black and white objects, or even interference from ambient light, it is able to provide excellent range finding and mapping. The S3 can measure up to a distance of 15m with a reflectance of 10%. The measurement core rotates clockwise, allowing a 360° scan of the environment. Thanks to the high sampling frequency of 32000, it can provide more accurate and faster mapping, a larger amount of point cloud data can be acquired. The accuracy of acquisition is supported by the angular resolution of up to 0.1125°. The hardware of the S3 has been optimized to provide 80,000Lux anti-interference capability.

In addition, various development platforms are supported. SDK development kits are provided, which can run on x86 Windows, x86 Linux, Arm Linux and other platforms. The LiDar's infrared laser light achieves Class 1 laser safety Standard.

Application areas: Industrial vehicles (AGV), service robots, light autonomous vehicles (unmanned aerial vehicles in parks), warehouse logistics, smart manufacturing or autonomous driving Systems.
